Bentley Motors is recalling certain 2020-2022 Continental GT Convertible and Continental GT models, as well as 2021-2022 Flying Spur vehicles because the front passenger seat belt may be missing an automatic locking retractor (ALR) due to incorrect installation during manufacturing. This missing component may not properly secure a child restraint, increasing the risk of injury in a crash and causing the vehicles to fail to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 208.
Owners who received notification letters mailed on April 22, 2022 should contact Bentley customer service at 1-800-777-6923 to schedule a dealer appointment. Dealers will inspect the affected seat belt at no charge and replace it if necessary.
