Bentley Motors is recalling certain 2021-2022 Bentayga, Continental GT, Flying Spur, and Continental GT Convertible vehicles because their owner's manuals contain incorrect information about the air bag system. The manuals falsely state that air bags will not deploy when the "Passenger Airbag On" symbol is illuminated, which could cause occupants to position themselves incorrectly in relation to the air bags and increase the risk of injury in a crash.
To remedy this issue, Bentley will mail new labels to owners, which can be applied by the owner or installed free of charge at a Bentley dealer. Owner notification letters were mailed on February 10, 2022. Affected owners should contact Bentley customer service at 1-800-777-6923 for more information about this recall (Bentley recall number RE21/43 or RC26).
