Mercedes-Benz USA is recalling certain 2016, 2019, and 2020 model year vehicles including the C300, E300, G550, AMG G63, AMG GT63, AMG GT53, A220, GLA250, GLC300, AMG A35, AMG C43, AMG C63, CLA250, E350, E450, GLB250, GLE450, GLS450, GLS580, S560, and SL550 equipped with gasoline engines. During manufacturing, particles may have become trapped between the fuel rail and fuel injectors, potentially causing a fuel leak.
A fuel leak near hot engine or exhaust components could increase the risk of fire. The remedy is free replacement of the fuel rail and fuel injectors at authorized dealers. Owner notification letters were mailed on April 22, 2022. Affected owners should contact MBUSA customer service at 1-800-367-6372 and reference recall number 2022030003.
