Mercedes-Benz USA is recalling certain 2018-2021 CLA-Class, GLE/GLS-Class, A-Class, C-Class, E-Class, E-Class Coupe/Convertible, GLA/GLB-Class, GLC-Class, and CLS-Class vehicles due to a rearview camera display malfunction. A software error may prevent the rearview camera from displaying the rear view image, which reduces the driver's visibility and increases the risk of a crash. The vehicles fail to meet federal rear visibility safety requirements.
To remedy the issue, authorized Mercedes-Benz dealers will update the rearview camera software at no cost to the owner. Owner notification letters were mailed on July 15, 2022. Affected owners should contact MBUSA customer service at 1-800-367-6372 to schedule service, and can reference recall number 2022060007.

Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC (MBUSA) is recalling certain 2018-2021 CLA-Class, GLE/GLS-Class, A-Class, C-Class, E-Class, E-Class Coupe/Convertible, GLA/GLB-Class, GLC-Class, and CLS-Class vehicles.
