Streamline Industries is recalling certain LA Chopper brake kits because their hydraulic brake hoses may be missing identification labels. Without these labels, the hoses cannot be properly identified if a safety recall is issued in the future, which could leave a safety problem unresolved and increase the risk of a crash or injury.
Streamline will provide a band with the labeling information or replace the brake hoses at no cost. Owner notification letters were mailed on May 31, 2022. Affected consumers should contact Streamline customer service at 1-800-310-5519 to arrange the remedy.

Streamline Industries Incorporated (Streamline) is recalling certain LA Chopper +2 length ABS Kit Midnight, part number OEM-LA-8211KT-13M and +5 Non ABS Brake Kit Black, part number OEM-LA-8153B-13-B, OEM-BA-801300B12, OEM-BA-501300B16, and OEM-BA-801300B18. The hydraulic brake hoses may be missing the identification label. As such, these brake hoses fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 106, "Brake Hoses."
