What happened

McNeilus Truck & Manufacturing, Inc. is recalling certain 2013-2015 refuse truck models equipped with Agility Fuel Systems' compressed natural gas (CNG) fuel systems. The flexible stainless steel hoses in these CNG systems can corrode when exposed to environmental conditions such as water mixed with road salt, which may cause a fuel leak.

A CNG leak in the presence of an ignition source could increase the risk of fire. Affected owners should contact Agility at 1-949-267-7745 or McNeilus at 1-888-686-7278 to have the defective hose assemblies replaced free of charge. The recall number is Agility 16E-092.
