What happened

The CPSC, LG Sourcing, and Lowe's are recalling GardenPlus Industrial Garden Carts (item number 128483) manufactured between November 2002 and April 2004. These four-wheeled pull wagons feature yellow mesh steel gauge beds and were sold between March 2003 and October 2004 without metal washers on the outside tire rims. Over-inflation of the tires can cause the metal tire rim to break, potentially striking users and bystanders with metal pieces.

Owners of affected carts will receive a direct shipment of free replacement wheels at no cost. Consumers should contact the recall administrator to arrange receipt of the replacement wheels.
