Ford Motor Company is recalling certain 2021 and 2022 model year vehicles, including the F-150, Super Duty F-250, F-350, Expedition, and Lincoln Navigator. The front-door side impact pressure sensor modules in these vehicles may have been damaged during supplier assembly, which could prevent the side impact air bags from deploying properly during a crash, increasing the risk of injury to occupants.
Owners of affected vehicles received notification letters mailed on November 3, 2021. Ford dealers will replace the driver and passenger front door side impact sensors at no charge.
