What happened

Nexus RVs is recalling certain 2018-2020 recreational vehicles equipped with Dometic 3-burner cooking stoves. The saddle valve securing bolt on these stoves may have been overtightened during manufacturing, which can damage the o-ring seal and cause a continuous gas leak that increases the risk of fire.

Owners of affected vehicles received notification letters mailed December 10, 2021. Nexus will work with Dometic to install a remedy kit containing gaskets, washers, thread locker bolts, and two round orange labels at no charge to the owner. Owners should contact Nexus customer service at 1-574-970-0848 to arrange the remedy installation.
