2016 CHEVROLET CRUZE
Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
General Motors is recalling certain 2016 Chevrolet Cruze vehicles manufactured between November 5, 2015, and May 26, 2016, because their headlight assemblies lack a three-digit identification code needed to properly aim the headlights during service. Without this code, headlights may be improperly aimed, which reduces nighttime visibility and increases the risk of a crash.
GM will mail owners instructions and adhesive labels with the correct identification code for installation on their headlight assemblies. Owners can also take their vehicle to a GM dealership for free assistance with applying the label. Affected consumers should contact Chevrolet Customer Service Department at 1-800-222-1020 with questions, referencing recall number 50190.
