Eaton Corporation is recalling certain Spool Valve Motors with specific part numbers manufactured between December 26, 2015, and March 30, 2016. These hydraulic motors have a motor shaft that may break, which could cause unexpected movement of a hydraulic boom or winch and increase the risk of injury to operators or bystanders nearby.
Vehicle manufacturers that purchased these hydraulic motors will be notified, and their dealers will replace the motors free of charge. The recall began on May 10, 2016. Affected owners should contact Eaton customer service at 1-800-386-1911.

These hydraulic motors have a motor shaft that may break. If the motor is used to operate a hydraulic boom or winch and the shaft breaks, there may be unexpected movement of the boom or winch.
