2017 FOREST RIVER ROCKWOOD; 2017 FOREST RIVER FLAGSTAFF
Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
Forest River, Inc. is recalling certain 2017 Rockwood and Flagstaff trailers manufactured between July 8 and July 11, 2016. These trailers have an incorrect Federal Placard that lists the recommended tire pressure as 50 PSI for ST225/75R15D tires, when the correct pressure should be 65 PSI. Running tires at low pressure can cause them to overheat and fail, potentially resulting in loss of vehicle control and increased crash risk.
To remedy this issue, Forest River dealers will provide owners with a corrected Federal Placard at no charge. The recall began on September 18, 2015. Owners of affected trailers should contact Forest River customer service at 1-574-642-2640, and reference recall number 10-07192016-0230.
