1888653 Ontario Inc. is recalling certain EVOS Full Face Modular Helmets, model number ST-818-6F-L in size Large that were manufactured between June 8, 2014 and July 10, 2014. These helmets may not adequately protect the wearer's head during a crash impact. Additionally, some helmets are missing or have incomplete labeling information, including the manufacturer's name, the word "Certified," and the designation "FMVSS No. 218," which prevents users from identifying the helmet in the event of a safety recall.
The company began notifying owners on August 1, 2016 and will offer affected consumers a full refund. If you own one of these helmets, you should contact 1888653 Ontario customer service at 1-416-848-0673 to arrange the refund.

1888653 Ontario Inc. (Ontario) is recalling certain EVOS Full Face Modular Helmets, model number ST-818-6F-L, size Large, manufactured June 8, 2014, to July 10, 2014. The affected helmets may not adequately protect the wearer's head in the event of an impact. Additionally, these helmets may be missing or have incomplete information regarding the manufacturer's name as well be missing the words "Certified" and "FMVSS No. 218." As such, these helmets fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 218, "Motorcycle Helmets."
