What happened

Utility Trailer Manufacturing Company is recalling certain 2015 Refrigerated Van trailers (model VS2RA) manufactured on December 16, 2013, that are equipped with specific Meritor or Bendix axles. The recalled trailers have air disc brake calipers with bolts that may not have been properly tightened during manufacturing, which could allow the caliper to detach from the axle flange and reduce braking performance, increasing the risk of a crash.
