2014 HARLEY-DAVIDSON FXDL
Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
Harley-Davidson is recalling certain 2014.5 FXDL Dyna Low Rider motorcycles manufactured between January 6, 2014, and June 19, 2014. These motorcycles may have optional performance electronic control module calibrations that allow higher engine RPMs, which can cause engine vibrations. If these vibrations move the ignition switch from the ignition-on position to the accessory-only position, the engine will shut off while the motorcycle is being ridden, creating a crash hazard.
To address this issue, Harley-Davidson dealers will replace the engine mount bracket assembly and ignition switch knob at no cost to owners. Owners of affected motorcycles should contact Harley-Davidson customer service at 1-800-258-2464 to arrange service with an authorized dealer.
