Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
Daimler Trucks North America is recalling certain 2009-2012 Freightliner, Sterling, and Western Star vehicles manufactured between July 7, 2008, and December 15, 2011, that have perpendicular air tank mounting brackets. The air tank mounting brackets on these vehicles may crack and separate from the frame rail, potentially causing the air tanks to separate from the vehicle. When this happens, the air tanks become road debris, which increases the risk of crashes.
DTNA will notify owners about the recall, and authorized dealers will replace the air mounting brackets at no charge. The recall began on December 24, 2012. Owners of affected vehicles should contact Daimler Trucks North America toll free at 1-800-547-0712.
