Polaris Industries is recalling certain Victory brand motorcycles due to a defect in accessory seats. The recall affects 2004-2012 Victory Kingpin motorcycles, 2006-2012 Victory Jackpot motorcycles, and 2003-2012 Vegas motorcycles that were manufactured between January 1, 2004, and May 1, 2011, and equipped with specific touring seats with backrests (part numbers 2876641-01 or 2875961-01). The backrest support on these seats can separate from the motorcycle during use, which could cause a passenger to be injured or fall from the motorcycle.
Victory will notify owners and replace the affected seats at no charge through authorized dealers. The recall began on September 15, 2011. If you own one of these motorcycles and have the affected seat, you should contact the Victory Consumer Service Department at 1-888-704-5290.

THE BACKREST SUPPORT CAN SEPARATE FROM THE MOTORCYCLE WHILE IN USE.
