Garden Way and CPSC have announced a recall of TROY-BILT and GARDEN WAY BY TROY-BILT brand trimmers/mowers because the trimmer heads that control the cutting cords can split and detach, creating a serious injury risk. The recalled models are Troy-Bilt 52063 and 52064, and Garden Way by Troy-Bilt 52067. You can identify your product by checking the brand name on the shield in front of the engine, and finding the model and serial number on the deck behind the left wheel from the operator's position.
If your trimmer/mower falls within the affected serial number ranges listed in the recall, you should stop using it immediately and discard or destroy the product according to the recall notice.

The recalled trimmers/mowers were sold under the TROY-BILT and GARDEN WAY BY TROY-BILT brand names. The brand name is on a shield in front of the engine. The model and serial numbers are located on the deck behind the left wheel, when viewed from the operator's position. The recalled models are the 52063 and 52064 Troy-Bilt brand and the 52067 Garden Way by Troy-Bilt brand. The serial number ranges are: 520631204884-520631207314 520631500101-520631500824 520631600101-520631604293 520641203058-520641204353 520641500101-520641500746 520641600101-520641602466 520671500101 - 52067150366
