Electrolux has recalled certain Frigidaire and Kenmore-branded electric wall ovens due to a fire hazard caused by a malfunctioning thermal switch resulting from improper manufacturing. The recalled ovens are single models measuring approximately 24 inches wide by 32 inches tall by 25 inches deep, and double models measuring approximately 24 inches wide by 51 inches tall by 25 inches deep, available in black, white, or stainless steel. The brand name appears below the oven window, and model and serial numbers are located on the left side trim inside the oven.
According to the recall, consumers who own affected models should immediately stop using the ovens and contact Electrolux or Transform (for Kenmore brand products) to schedule a free inspection and free repair. Electrolux states it is contacting all known purchasers directly regarding this recall.

This recall involves Frigidaire and Kenmore-branded electric single and double wall ovens made by Electrolux. They were sold in black, white or stainless steel. The single ovens measure about 24 inches wide, 32 inches tall and 25 inches deep. The double ovens measure about 24 inches wide, 51 inches tall and 25 inches deep. "Kenmore" or "Frigidaire" is printed below the oven window. The model and serial numbers are located on the left side trim on the inside of the oven.
