What happened

Electrolux is recalling certain Sears Kenmore 24-inch electric ranges because the heating element can fail to properly adhere to the cooktop, which creates an electrical shock hazard. The recall affects model numbers 790.90152 with serial numbers NF408 through NF424 and model number 790.90153 with serial numbers NF408 through NF427. These ranges have smooth cooktops and come in white or black with stainless steel accents. You can find your model and serial numbers on the bottom right frame of the range inside the storage drawer.

If you own one of these recalled ranges, you should immediately stop using it and unplug it from the wall. Contact Sears to schedule a free inspection and repair if necessary.
