Le Creuset is recalling glass lids that were sold after October 2010 due to a risk that they can crack or break during normal use, which could cause cuts or lacerations. The recalled lids are clear glass measuring between approximately 9 and 12 inches in diameter with "Le Creuset" stamped on the metal handles, and include 24cm, 28cm, and 30cm models, as well as 30cm lids sold with Le Creuset Forged Hard-Anodized casserole sets.

Consumers who own affected lids should stop using them immediately and return them to Le Creuset for a full refund of the purchase price.
