  • Brand Jetmax International Ltd., of Stamford, Conn.

Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.

What happened

Jetmax International Ltd. and the CPSC have announced a recall of children's wooden rocking chairs sold at Target stores. The chairs can collapse because the rear legs can separate from the rocker's base, causing a child seated in the chair to fall. The recalled rockers come in two styles: a boy's version with a yellow frame, red rockers, and blue canvas seat, or a girl's version with a white frame, purple rockers, and pink canvas seat. The packaging is labeled "restore™ & RESTYLE KIDS," "Wooden Folding Chair," "Ages 3 and Up," and "Made in China." The chairs are designed for children between 30 and 100 pounds and measure 23 inches long, 13 inches wide, and 16.5 inches high.

Consumers who own these rockers should immediately stop using them. To remedy the problem, affected consumers should contact Jetmax International to receive a free repair kit that includes easy installation instructions.
