Forest River, Inc. is recalling certain 2022 fifth wheel and travel trailers from multiple brands including Prime Time Avenger, Crusader, Lacrosse, Ozark, Tracer, Sanibel, East to West Della Terra, Silverlake, Cherokee, Flagstaff, IBEX, RPod, Rockwood, Salem, Sierra, Sandpiper, and Wildwood. The electric retractable awnings on these trailers have a welded seam on the fabric that may separate, which can cause the awning to drop or extend beyond normal operation, posing an injury risk.
Forest River will replace the awnings at no cost to owners. Owner notification letters were expected to be mailed August 17, 2022.
