What happened

Forest River, Inc. is recalling certain 2021-2023 recreational vehicles from multiple brands including Coachmen, Palomino, Prime Time, and Shasta models. The quick disconnect fittings in the LP gas systems of these vehicles may be cracked, which can cause a gas leak that increases the risk of fire if an ignition source is present.

Dealers will replace the quick disconnect fittings and perform a complete LP system check at no cost to owners. Owner notification letters were mailed on May 20, 2022. Affected consumers should contact the customer service number for their specific vehicle model, which is listed in the full recall report.
