What happened

Roush CleanTech, LLC is recalling certain altered 2016-2022 Ford E350, E450, F450, F550, F53, F59, F650, and F750 trucks sold or registered in Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia, West Virginia, and Wisconsin. The zinc-plating on the fuel return line can break away when struck by road debris, which causes two different metals on the fuel line to contact each other and corrode.

A corroded fuel line can leak fuel and increase the risk of fire. Roush will replace the fuel return lines free of charge. Interim owner notifications were mailed in August 2022, and remedy parts are expected to become available in January 2023. Affected consumers should contact Roush's customer service at 1-800-597-6874 and reference recall number VA-J2044.
