ROUSH CLEANTECH LPG RETURN LINES

  • Brand ROUSH CLEANTECH

Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.

What happened

Roush CleanTech is recalling certain fuel return lines in GEN 4 and GEN 5 LPG Conversion Systems installed on vehicles sold or registered in specific northeastern, midwestern, and mid-Atlantic states. The zinc-plating on these fuel return lines can break away when struck by road debris, causing the two dissimilar metals underneath to contact each other and corrode. A corroded fuel line can leak fuel, which increases the risk of fire.

Roush will replace the affected fuel return lines at no charge through vehicle manufacturers and their dealers, though the manufacturer has not yet provided a schedule for recall notification. Owners of affected vehicles should contact Roush's customer service at 1-800-597-6874 and reference recall number EQ-J2044 to inquire about the replacement.
