Sutphen Corporation is recalling one 2017 Fire Truck and one 2020 Fire Truck equipped with Code 3 7x9 Stop-Tail-Turn Reverse All-in-One LED lights. These lights may be excessively bright, exceeding the maximum light output allowed by federal safety standards, which could adversely affect the vision of other drivers and increase the risk of a crash.
Sutphen has already assisted both affected vehicle owners in obtaining free filter kits from the light manufacturer, and both vehicles have been remedied. No owner letters will be mailed. Owners may contact Sutphen customer service at 1-614-889-1005.
