Forest River, Inc. is recalling certain recreational vehicles from model years 2011 through 2021, including Coachmen Cross Country, Coachmen Encore, Coachmen Mirada, Coachmen Sportscoach, Forest River Berkshire, Forest River Blue Ridge, Forest River Cardinal, Forest River Cedar Creek, Forest River Georgetown, Forest River Legacy, and Forest River Riverstone models equipped with Hehr 6400 Series windows. The adhesive that bonds the vented portion of these windows may fail, which could cause the vent to detach and increase the risk of a crash or injury.
Owners of affected vehicles received notification letters on September 2, 2021. According to the recall, owners should contact Forest River customer service at 1-574-825-8600 to have their windows inspected. If necessary, dealers will replace the vent portion of the window at no charge. The recall number is 51-1380.
