Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
Ferrari North America, Inc. is recalling certain 2012 Ferrari California, 458 Italia, 458 Spider, and FF vehicles for a defect in the passenger frontal air bag inflator module. The inflators may explode during a crash due to propellant degradation caused by long-term exposure to humidity and temperature cycling. An inflator explosion could result in metal fragments striking vehicle occupants and causing serious injury or death.
Ferrari will notify owners of affected vehicles, and authorized dealers will replace the passenger frontal air bag assembly with one using an alternate inflator at no charge. The recall began on July 19, 2018. Owners of affected vehicles should contact Ferrari customer service at 1-201-816-2668 (recall number 61) to arrange the replacement.
