Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
Ferrari North America, Inc. recalled certain 2013 model year Ferrari vehicles—including the California, 458 Italia, 458 Spider, FF, and F12 Berlinetta—because their passenger frontal air bag inflators may explode during a crash. The inflators can degrade after prolonged exposure to humidity and temperature changes, potentially causing an explosion that sends sharp metal fragments toward vehicle occupants, posing a risk of serious injury or death. The initial recall covered 1,073 vehicles in specific states and territories starting January 9, 2018, and was expanded on May 18, 2018 to include an additional 826 vehicles in the remaining United States.
Ferrari will notify owners of affected vehicles, and authorized dealers will replace the passenger frontal air bag assembly at no cost. The remedy began March 1, 2018 for the original population and began in June 2018 for the expanded population. Owners of potentially affected vehicles should contact Ferrari customer service at 1-866-551-2828 with recall number 63 for more information.

On January 9, 2018 Ferrari North America, Inc. (Ferrari) recalled 1,073 model year 2013 California, 458 Italia, 458 Spider, FF, and F12 Berlinetta vehicles sold, or ever registered in the states of Alabama, California, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Louisiana, Mississippi, South Carolina, Texas, Puerto Rico, American Samoa, Guam, the Northern Mariana Islands (Saipan), and the U.S. Virgin Islands. On May 18, 2018, Ferrari expanded the recall to include an additional 826 model year 2013 California, 458 Italia, 458 Spider, FF, and F12 Berlinetta vehicles located throughout the rest of the United States. These vehicles are equipped with certain air bag inflators assembled as part of the passenger frontal air bag modules used as original equipment or replacement equipment. In the event of a crash necessitating deployment of the passenger frontal air bag, these inflators may explode due to propellant degradation occurring after long-term exposure to absolute humidity and temperature cycling.
