Is my product affected?

2019 IC BUS CESB

  • Brand IC BUS

Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.

What happened

Navistar is recalling certain 2019 IC Bus CE school buses with dual air brake systems and Electronic Stability Protection features because an air supply line to the roll stability valve may have been routed incorrectly during manufacturing. This improper routing can cause the parking brakes to engage unintentionally during stability control events on slippery roads, potentially resulting in loss of vehicle control and an increased risk of crashes.

Navistar will notify owners of affected vehicles, and authorized dealers will reroute the affected air supply line to the correct brake control valve connection at no charge. Owners of potentially affected vehicles should contact Navistar customer service at 1-800-448-7825 with recall number 18506 to confirm whether their bus is included in this recall and to schedule the repair.
