Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
Navistar is recalling certain 2017-2020 International DuraStar and WorkStar vehicles, 2018-2020 IC Bus models, and 2019-2020 IC Bus TCCB vehicles equipped with Cummins B6.7 diesel engines with specific fuel module option numbers FS90301 or FS90453. The electric fuel heater within the fuel module may overheat, causing the plastic to melt and potentially catch fire, which increases the risk of injury. The overheating can also cause the engine to stall, increasing the risk of a crash.
Cummins will notify affected Navistar owners, and Cummins dealers will replace the fuel heater with a newly designed unit at no charge. The recall began on May 2, 2019. Owners can contact Cummins customer service at 1-800-286-6467 or Navistar customer service at 1-800-448-7825 for information about the recall.
