2018 FOREST RIVER FORESTER
Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
Forest River, Inc. is recalling certain 2018 Forester motorhomes, model FRC3271SF, because the Federal Placard on these vehicles inaccurately states that the vehicle has single rear wheels and tires when the vehicles are actually equipped with dual rear wheels and tires. This incorrect labeling may cause operators to not properly maintain the tires and wheels, which could lead to improper handling and potentially increase the risk of a crash. The vehicles fail to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 120 and federal certification requirements.
Forest River will notify owners and provide a corrected Placard free of charge. The recall began on October 18, 2017. Affected owners should contact Forest River customer service at 1-574-206-7600 and reference recall number 34-0528.
