2018 FOREST RIVER SIERRA; 2018 FOREST RIVER SANDPIPER
Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
Forest River, Inc. is recalling certain 2018 Sandpiper and Sierra recreational trailers because the Federal Placard on these vehicles may incorrectly display the recommended tire pressure as 110psi when it should actually be 95psi. If tires are inflated to the incorrect pressure of 110psi, it can cause premature tire wear, potentially leading to loss of control and an increased risk of crash.
To remedy this issue, Forest River will notify owners and dealers will install a corrected Federal Placard at no charge. The recall began on January 2, 2018. Owners of affected trailers should contact Forest River customer service at 1-574-534-4574 and reference recall number 03-0599.
