Is my product affected?

2018 FOREST RIVER XLR

  • Brand FOREST RIVER

Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.

What happened

Forest River, Inc. is recalling certain 2018 XLR ToyHaulers, models XLT23KW and XLT23KW-W, because the Federal Placard on these vehicles may not provide correct tire and rim combination information. Specifically, the placard does not properly indicate that ST225/75R15/E tires requiring 80 PSI and 16X6.0JJ rims should be used. If operators install incorrect replacement tires based on inaccurate placard information, the risk of a crash could increase.

Forest River will notify owners and provide a corrected Federal Placard at no charge. Owners of affected vehicles should contact Forest River customer service at 1-574-642-0432 and reference recall number 45-0509 to arrange receipt of the corrected placard.
