What happened

CSC Motorcycles, LLC is recalling certain 2015-2016 model year Cyclone motorcycles manufactured between April 4, 2015, and November 10, 2016. These motorcycles may be missing a supplemental brake fluid label that instructs operators to clean the brake reservoir before adding brake fluid and to use DOT 4 brake fluid from a sealed container. Without this label, operators may use incorrect brake fluid, which could damage the brake system and increase the risk of a crash.

Owners of affected motorcycles should contact CSC customer service at 1-800-884-4173 to report the missing label and receive a replacement at no charge. The recall number is 16-0023810-18747-10.

Hazard

CSC Motorcycles, LLC (CSC) is recalling certain model year 2015-2016 Cyclone motorcycles manufactured April 4, 2015, to November 10, 2016. The affected vehicles may not be equipped with a supplemental label that reminds the user to clean the brake reservoir before adding brake fluid and to use DOT 4 brake fluid from a sealed container. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 122, "Motorcycle Brake Systems."
