What happened

Tegol, Inc. is recalling certain Outlaw Slim-G Series motorcycle helmets (part number GLD-12-510-511) manufactured between March 30, 2013, and June 5, 2013, in all sizes. The affected helmets may not adequately protect the wearer's head in a crash impact, and an object may penetrate the helmet. Additionally, these helmets lack proper labeling, which prevents users from identifying them in the event of a recall. The helmets do not comply with federal safety standards for motorcycle helmets.

Affected consumers should contact Tegol customer service at 1-714-496-9988 to receive a full refund on their recalled helmets. The recall began on July 19, 2016.

Tegol, Inc. (Tegol) is recalling certain Outlaw Slim-G Series motorcycle helmets, part number GLD-12-510-511, in all sizes, manufactured March 30, 2013, to June 5, 2013. The affected helmets may not adequately protect the wearer's head in the event of an impact, and an object may penetrate the helmet. Additionally, these helmets may not be labeled properly.
