KIDDY KIDDY WORLD PLUS
Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
Kiddy USA is recalling certain World Plus combination forward-facing child restraints (model 51 100 WP) manufactured between July 2, 2012, and October 5, 2013. The buckle on these seats may only partially engage, making it appear fully latched when it is not. If the buckle is not fully engaged, it will not adequately restrain a child in a crash, increasing injury risk. These seats fail to meet federal safety standards for child restraint systems.
Kiddy will notify registered owners and reimburse them the full purchase price of the car seat plus packaging costs. The recall began on June 15, 2016. Affected consumers should contact Kiddy customer service at 1-855-92KIDDY (1-855-925-4339).
