2017 FOREST RIVER CARDINAL; 2016 FOREST RIVER CARDINAL
Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
Forest River, Inc. is recalling certain 2016-2017 Cardinal recreational vehicles (models CAF3455RL, CAF3825FL, and CAF3850RL) manufactured between November 20, 2015, and April 1, 2016. These vehicles have an incorrect Federal Placard that specifies the wrong tire pressure and rim combination. If owners inflate the tires according to the label, the tires will be under-inflated, which can cause premature tire wear and potential tire blow-outs that increase the risk of a vehicle crash.
Forest River will notify owners and provide a corrected Federal Placard at no charge, with the recall expected to begin on or about June 23, 2016. Owners of affected vehicles should contact Forest River customer service at 1-574-206-7600 and reference recall number 15-04172016-0179 to obtain the corrected placard.
