Harley-Davidson is recalling certain 2015 XG500 and XG750 motorcycles that may be missing a rear reflector assembly. Motorcycles without a rear reflector have reduced visibility to other drivers, which increases the risk of a crash. The affected XG500 models were manufactured between January 28, 2014, and March 9, 2015, while the XG750 models were manufactured between May 12, 2014, and March 9, 2015.
To remedy the issue, Harley-Davidson dealers will install a rear reflector assembly free of charge. Owners should contact Harley-Davidson customer service at 1-800-258-2464 to arrange an appointment. The recall began on April 29, 2015, and Harley-Davidson's reference number for this recall is 0620.

Harley-Davidson Motor Company (Harley-Davidson) is recalling certain model year 2015 XG500 motorcycles manufactured January 28, 2014, to March 9, 2015, and 2015 XG750 motorcycles manufactured May 12, 2014, to March 9, 2015. The affected motorcycles may have been manufactured without a rear reflector assembly. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."
