2015 FREIGHTLINER BUSINESS CLASS M2
Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
Daimler Trucks North America is recalling certain 2015 Freightliner Business Class M2 vehicles manufactured between June 4, 2014, and December 1, 2014, that have hydraulic brakes and a Bosch Hydro-Max Brake Boost Pump. The problem is that the brake switch is incompatible with the instrument cluster, which means the brake warning lights may not display properly on the dashboard if there is a problem with the brake system.
If the warning lights don't come on, drivers may not realize that their braking force has been reduced, which increases the risk of a crash. DTNA will notify owners, and authorized dealers will install the correct brake switch at no cost. Affected owners should contact DTNA customer service at 1-800-745-8000 or reference recall number FL-677 to arrange service.
