OHLINS TTX36 SHOCK ABSORBER
Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
Ohlins Racing AB is recalling certain TTX36 aftermarket motorcycle shock absorbers made between November 5, 2013, and February 20, 2015. The piston rod nut on these shock absorbers may loosen over time, which would reduce damping performance and could potentially cause the shock to disassemble. If this happens, the rider could lose vehicle control and be at increased risk of a crash.
To address this hazard, Ohlins will contact owners, and authorized dealers will secure the rod nut at no cost. Owners should not ride their motorcycles until this repair is completed. To find out if your shock absorber is affected and to arrange service, contact Ohlins customer service at 1-800-336-9029.
