Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
Chrysler is recalling certain 2013 Ram 1500, 2500, and 3500 trucks manufactured between September 9, 2012, and March 5, 2013, that are equipped with optional premium tail lamps. The turn signal indicator in these vehicles may not flash at a double rate to warn the driver when the turn signal is malfunctioning, which means drivers could continue using the vehicle without knowing that other drivers are not being notified of turns, potentially increasing crash risk.
To remedy this issue, Chrysler dealers will reprogram the Central Body Controller software at no cost to owners. Owners of affected vehicles should contact Chrysler at 1-800-853-1403 to arrange service through an authorized dealer.
