Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.

What happened

Chrysler is recalling certain 2013 RAM 1500 trucks manufactured between June 25, 2012, and December 12, 2012, because a coolant bypass valve may malfunction and prevent coolant from reaching the heater core. This failure affects the windshield defrosting system, which could allow moisture or ice to accumulate on the windshield and obstruct the driver's view, potentially increasing the risk of a crash.

Chrysler will notify owners, and authorized dealers will replace the faulty coolant valve and update the vehicle's calibration at no charge. Affected consumers should contact Chrysler at 1-800-247-9753 and reference recall campaign number N25 to determine if their vehicle is included and to schedule service.
