Westmor Industries is recalling certain model year 2003-2013 trailers equipped with Fisher-branded H732 and H832 pressure relief valves manufactured by Emerson between January 2003 and January 2013. The valve stem may break and separate, causing the valve to be ejected and pressurized gas to be released into the atmosphere.
The ejected valve could strike another vehicle and cause personal injury or crash, and the release of gas near an ignition source could lead to vehicle fire. Westmor will notify owners and Emerson will replace the valves at no charge. Affected consumers should contact Westmor at 1-800-992-8981 to arrange the free valve replacement.
