  • Brand FOREST RIVER

Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.

What happened

Forest River is recalling certain 2012 and 2013 Surveyor travel trailers manufactured between August 12, 2011, and April 6, 2012. On specific floor plans, the liquid propane gas line was routed and fastened along the bottom of the frame rail in a way that could allow the axle's "U" bolt to pinch the line between the main rail and the bolt when the trailer hits a bump. If the line breaks, it may leak LP gas, which could cause fire, injury, or death.

Forest River will notify owners, and dealers will re-route the LP line at no charge to correct the hazard. The recall began in May 2012. Affected consumers should contact Forest River at 1-574-389-4600.
