  • Brand TOW READY

Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.

What happened

Cequent is recalling certain Tow Ready T-One Connectors (trailer wiring harness adapters), part number 118542, sold for use on 2011 and 2012 Dodge Charger vehicles. Due to an error in the circuit logic, these connectors may cause the left side brake lamp on the trailer to stop working when the right side turn signal lamp is activated. Without a functioning brake light, drivers following the vehicle may not realize the vehicle is slowing or stopping, which increases the risk of a crash.

Cequent will replace the T-One Connector free of charge. The safety recall began on March 6, 2012. Affected consumers should contact Cequent Customer Service at 1-877-208-2573 to arrange for the replacement.
