Teufelberger has recalled climbing ropes with eyes at the end due to a defect in the splicing of the eye. The improperly spliced eye could open during use, potentially causing a climber to fall. The affected products include multiple models of Braided Safety Blue, Arbor Elite, Pottsblitz, and CEclimb ropes in various designs and colors, with model numbers ranging from 7350026 through C5QBG0-16-00120/150/200 and others. The recall was initiated on September 26, 2019.

Hazard
