LED floodlight
Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
VARO LED floodlights (model POWLI233, sold under the name POWERPLUSLIGHT POWLI233 Portable LED Floodlight) pose an electric shock hazard due to multiple safety defects. Water can penetrate the product's aluminium housing and reach live electrical parts. Additionally, the earth connection is inadequate and the mains connection lead lacks proper strain relief, which could cause the housing to become live and dangerous if touched.
The manufacturer and distributor initiated a recall of the product from end users, effective August 14, 2019 for the manufacturer (the distributor's effective date is unknown). The affected floodlights have dimensions of 145 x 180 x 120 mm and feature a flat LED protected by a glass panel; they were sold online and through other channels. The source does not specify what remedy consumers should pursue.

The housing of the product could consequently become live and lead to an electric shock if touched by a user. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant European Standard EN 60598.
