Passenger car
Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
Mercedes-Benz is recalling multiple passenger car models due to a defect in the electrical connectors of side-impact sensors. The connector may not be properly latched and could detach, which would prevent or delay the activation of restraint systems during a side-impact collision. This defect increases the risk of injury to vehicle occupants by reducing the effectiveness of safety features designed to protect them. The recall affects the E-Class, S-Class, GLC, CLS, AMG GT 4-door Coupé, EQC, and G-Class model series.
The manufacturer, Mercedes-Benz, has initiated a recall to address this issue. According to the recall record, an affected consumer should contact the manufacturer or an authorized Mercedes-Benz dealer to have the electrical connector inspected and corrected.
